1、The surface of the printing roller is prone to scratches:due to the softness of the roller,any hard object may be scratched during high-speed operation,especially when the alcohol fountain solution relies on the water roller.Once scratches occur,it cannot be used again.There are two main reasons for this:
1.The printing plate cannot be pulled tightly or the plate clamp is not tightly clamped,and there are often cracks and cracks at the trailing end of the printing plate,which can scratch the plate water and ink roller.
2.The maintenance of the ink roller is not timely,and there are many impurities such as ink skin and residue on the rubber roller,which accelerates the friction,heat generation,and aging of the rubber roller,causing the surface of the rubber roller to be covered with numbness.Generally,the two ends of the rubber roller are more serious.

2、Crystallization and calcification on the surface of printing rollers:The surface of high-quality printing rollers should be fine,smooth,slightly sticky to the touch,and have good ink transfer performance.However,due to the long-term influence of factors such as fountain solution,ink,and paper on the rubber roller,and the inability to completely clean each time,various substances accumulate layer by layer on the surface of the rubber roller.Over time,the original pores on the surface of the rubber roller will be closed,forming a smooth crystalline layer similar to calcium,seriously affecting the ink and water transfer performance,and unable to stably control the ink color of the printed matter.
3、Premature cracking and aging of printing rollers:The reasons for this problem are multifaceted,such as excessive dry oil in the ink,which causes the ink to dry and heat up on the rollers;Improper selection of cleaning agent for cleaning the rubber roller,and hasty cleaning time,resulting in impurities on the rubber roller being unable to be thoroughly cleaned;The workshop environment temperature is high,and the lubrication cooling system is not working properly,resulting in a large amount of heat generated during the operation of the rubber roller being unable to be dissipated in a timely manner.The cohesive temperature of the rubber roller is very high.The bearing performance of the rubber roller is poor,and it is rotated by the ink roller,causing jumping friction,squeezing,etc.
